The annual Inter-House Debating Competition has been won by Spencer.

In a very close Final, (decided by just half a point!), they proposed the motion “School holidays should be made shorter”, whilst Eliot opposed it; in front of a very appreciative pupil and staff audience.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Final, and to those who represented Newton and Mandela in the earlier qualifying rounds. 

Thanks also go to those who judged, officiated and helped, throughout the competition.  Debating continues to go from strength to strength at the School.
