School Congratulates 15 Mile Challenge Runners

Participants in this year's 15 Mile Challenge were congratulated by the School after running

Participants in this year's 15 Mile Challenge were congratulated by the School after running a staggering total of 2599 miles - the distance between Peterborough and Senegal!

In total, 65 medals were given out;  38 to bronze medallists for completing the basic 15 miles; 6 silvers to those completing 25 miles; 5 golds for completing 35 miles and 17 Elite trophies to those managing a whopping 55 miles within the set time period.

The top year group was year 7 who completed 598 miles in total and Year 5 had the highest average miles per student at 19.7.

The successful Elite runners are:  Holly Leggott, Eve Wright; George Woodall, Ethan Waller, William McCallum, Hannah Bassett, Georgina Parker, Benjamin MacKenzie, Grace Wheeler, Jason Lau, Samantha Wellham, Katie Hetzel, Faheem Butt, Nikhil Patel, Mr Brocklesby and Mr King.

A huge well done to everyone for a great effort, despite very inclement weather right through the Challenge.
