Santa SMile Fun Run Raises Money For Charity

Santa SMile Fun Run Raises Money For Charity

The amazing sight of hundreds of Santas running together round the School's back pitch for charity could be seen in the annual Santa SMile Fun Run this week.

Hundreds of Santas of all shapes and sizes - as well as a few elves and reindeer - were seen running round the School's back pitch this week as the Prep School raised money for the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice Appeal in this year's Santa SMile fun run.

Children from Reception to Year 6 donned their Santa hats and outfits and jogged or sprinted round the quarter mile track to complete at least one mile in the sponsored run.  Many parents and staff also joined in, making it truly a sight to behold.

Organiser and Director of Sport, Steve Roberts, said he was delighted with the turn out and what a great afternoon everyone had.  All of the children received a medal for their efforts and the School is hoping to raise around £600 for the charity.
