Cleaner - Part Time

 We are seeking to appoint a part time Cleaner to work Monday-Friday 4.00pm-9.00pm.

Within this role you will undertake a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that a designated area of the School/Nursery is kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

This will involve vacuuming, mopping, dusting and cleaning surfaces as well as the cleaning of toilets and low level windows.

Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is essential.  It is desirable for applicants to have experience of cleaning within a School/Nursery environment and have completed COSHH training, however, full training will be provided.

Within this role you will be required at all times to promote and safeguard the welfare of the children you come into contact with as well as complying with relevant Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations.

The Peterborough School Nursery - OFSTED registered and ISI rated 'Outstanding' setting

We require:

  • Relief Childcare Practitioner (Flexible Hours)

  • Fixed Hours Practitioner (Full Time)

The ideal candidates will have a firm knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, have a childcare qualification up to Level 3 or above and relevant experience within an Early Years setting.

We offer a competitive remuneration package in extremely good, friendly, working conditions, including free uniform and subsidised meals.  Many of our staff have been trained to degree level while in our employment and additional training is offered in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.
