Opportunities at The Peterborough School
The Peterborough School Giving Tree
It is our aspiration to create a permanent
commemoration of friends of the School – our
pupils, parents, former pupils, former staff and
benefactors. The idea is the tree will prosper and
grow with leaves sponsored by anyone wishing to
contribute. The silver coloured leaves will be
stamped with the names and messages from the
donors and displayed on the Giving Tree for years
to come.
If you would like to have a place in the history of the
School, please sponsor one or more leaves, by
completing the order form found in the centre of this
publication and watch our Giving Tree flourish.
Career Talks and Visits to the School
The School benefits greatly from visits from former
pupils and parents who come in to talk to students
about their careers and life experiences. It is
incredibly inspiring for students to talk to a former
pupil and gain an insight to what lies ahead for
them. Please give this some consideration as this
can be a very rewarding experience for both the
students and also the visitor who has the
opportunity to encourage, advise and help shape
future careers.
Advertising and Sponsorship
If you would like to advertise your products and
services in The Westwoodian which is direct mailed
to over 1200 Westwoodians every year and will
also be displayed on the School’s website, please
let me know.
In addition, we often advertise local businesses
in School publications and many of our current
parents have been involved in sponsoring School
events. We would like to extend the opportunity
to advertise and sponsor to Westwoodians who may
like to promote their businesses to our current
parents through our School events and publications.
Finally, please contact me if you would like to
visit the School, hold a careers talk, advertise or
sponsor or get involved in supporting the School
in anyway.
